RIP Coach Pat Keating! I’m so sad to hear about this news! Coach Keating was my ULTIMATE favorite person at Aiken High! He let me be his student helper during my Study Hall period and the rest was history! He checked on me during high school, after graduation, after I had Noelle, and years after! Thank you for always being you! You were wonderful person and I’m thankful I got to know you! We love you Coach Keating! May you rest peacefully! My prayers go out to his family!
Likewise, Pat’s former colleagues who worked under him at Wagener-Salley High School, wrote:
Just received the devastating news that my former boss, Pat Keating, passed away following heart surgery. I had the honor of working under Pat for many years at Wagener-Salley High School. He was the principal who called to offer me a job—and literally wouldn’t hang up until I said yes…Over the years, I loved watching him retire and step into what became some of the best years of his life as a grandpa. The world truly lost a great man today. My heart is especially broken for Cindy, his one true love, and for all who were lucky enough to know him.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Pat Keating’s family, friends, and well-wishers.
Rest In Peace, Coach!
