Elgin, Illinois mourns former Larkin High School and Elgin Community College baseball standout Kyle Williamson, 54, survived by his wife Jennifer and their three children

The Elgin, Illinois, community mourns beloved resident and former athlete, Kyle Williamson, who spent decades as a sales professional.

According to his obituary, Kyle Williamson passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday afternoon, November 18, 2026, at an untimely age of 54.

While his family hasn’t released any statement regarding the untimely death of Kyle Williamson, some of his loved ones revealed that he suffered a heart attack.

Born on May 31, 1971, in Davenport, Iowa, to parents Bruce R. and Judith A. Williamson, Kyle Williamson spent most of his life in Elgin, Illinois.

He was a cherished member of the Elgin sports community and a former high school and collegiate athlete.

Kyle, a 1989 graduate of Larkin High School, played multiple sports, including baseball and football.

He further continued his athletic journey at Elgin Community College, playing for the Men’s Baseball Team and leading his team in several victories.

Although Kyle Williamson didn’t pursue a career in sports, he dedicated his life to being an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers.

Furthermore, Kyle Williamson spent over three decades serving as a sales professional at several renowned companies in Illinois.

Earning his BA in Management and Leadership from Judson University, Kyle began his professional career as an inside sales correspondent at Vactor Manufacturing in 1999 and served in his position until 2001.

He further joined Elgin Sweeper Company in Elgin, Illinois, in 2001 as Inside Sales Coordinator and worked with the company for nearly 15 years, serving in various positions, including product data specialist and product data administrator.

Kyle also worked as a sales admin consultant at Navistar Inc. from 2016 to 2026 and most recently served as Sr. Sales Analyst at International in Lisle, Illinois.

Kyle Williamson is Survived By His Longtime Wife, Jennifer, Three Kids, and The Entire Family

In addition to being an exceptional athlete and sales professional, Kyle Williamson was a great husband to his longtime wife, Jennifer Schneff Williamson, and a loving father to his three children, sons Brady and Charlie, and daughter Olivia.

Kyle and Jen tied the knot on April 6, 2007, and were happily married for 18 years. The couple raised their three children to be exceptional athletes.

Following in their father Kyle’s footsteps, Brady and Charlie began their athletic journey from a very young age, excelling in both baseball and football.

Kyle’s eldest son, Brady James Williamson, now 17, plays for the varsity football team, the Rockets, at Central High School in Burlington, Illinois, and is set to graduate in 2026.

Wearing jersey #77 and standing 6’2”, Brady Williamson plays as an offensive guard and offensive tackle, leading his team in several victories.

Likewise, Kyle’s youngest son, Charlie Williamson, plays quarterback for the Central High School football team and is set to graduate in 2028. He also excels in baseball and has won several honorable titles.

Kyle and Jen’s only daughter, Olivia Williamson, is a cheerleading star at school.

In addition to his wife, Jen and three kids, Kyle Williamson is survived by his parents, Bruce and Judy Williamson, brother, Marti (Larry McFarland) Williamson; his sister, Paige Engle, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Diane Schneff, his brother-in-law, Bryan (Jennifer) Schneff, several nieces and nephews; and the entire family.

At Kyle’s request, he will be cremated. Family and friends are invited to gather at St. James Episcopal Church, 516 N. Washington Street (at the corner of 6th and Washington) in West Dundee from 9:00 a.m. until the memorial service begins at noon, led by Rev. Don Frye, Rector.

After the service, Kyle will be laid to rest at Whitney Cemetery in Wasco.

In place of flowers, the family welcomes monetary contributions for Brady, Charlie, and Olivia’s future education. Donations may be made by check to Jennifer Williamson for the Kyle W. Williamson Trust.
