Brian Robert Wright, a cherished coach and educator, passed away, leaving everyone devastated.

Wright was born on August 9, 1955, in Fort Fairfield, Maine, to Robert P. Wright and June Flanagan Wright.

His journey led him from the scenic views of Maine to the sunny shores of Florida, where he pursued higher education.

A proud alumnus of Florida State University, he earned his Master’s Degree. As a teacher, football coach, baseball coach, and school administrator, he inspired a generation of students with his passion for education and sports.

His commitment to shaping young minds extended into his final role with the Florida Department of Corrections, where he served as the Education Administrator/Supervisor at Apalachee Correctional Institution.

Community Is Mourning The Tragic Death Of Brian Robert Wright

The sources confirmed that coach Brian Robert Wright passed away on March 18, 2026, in Chattahoochee, Florida, at the age of 70.

The cause of death has not been revealed yet by his family.

Brian Robert Wright Is Survived By His Children And Siblings

Coach Brian Robert Wright had two sons, Josh Wright and Thomas Justus Wright, with his wife, whose identity has not been revealed.

Josh tied the knot with Summer while Thomas married Sara.

He shared a close bond with his grandchildren, Hunter, Keegan, Carly, and Maggie Wright.

Moreover, Brian is survived by his siblings, Cheryl Cropley, Marcia Mathie, Rod Wright, and Brent Wright.

Currently, they are mourning the loss of Brian Robert Wright.
