A Lacrosse player at Whitney Point High School, Dominik R. Brown, passed away in car accident, leaving everyone devastated.
Dominik R. Brown was a senior in the Class of 2026 at Whitney Point High School in New York, where he competed for the Whitney Point Varsity Boys Lacrosse team.
Standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 155 pounds, Brown wore jersey No. 9 and played as a midfielder (M) and defensive midfielder (DM).
Brown has been a part of the Whitney Point lacrosse program since the 2026 season and was officially added to the 2026 varsity roster in late April.
During the 2026 campaign, his contributions were reflected on the stat sheet despite limited game action.
In a matchup against Johnson City High School on April 25, 2026, he recorded one goal, one ground ball, and one point, showing his ability to make an impact on both ends of the field.
That performance placed him among the statistical leaders in Section 4 STAC-East, where he ranked fourth in goals.
As a midfielder, Brown was relied upon to transition the ball, support the offense, and contribute defensively, and his early-season efficiency averaged 1.0 goal per game.

The sources confirmed that Whitney Point High School lacrosse player, Dominik R. Brown, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. However, the cause of death has not been revealed yet.
Landon Spoonhower from Richford, New York, took to Facebook and announced the death of Dominik.

Immediately following the services, friends and family are welcome to share memories and a meal at the Lisle Fire Station.
Instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Whitney Point Boys Lacrosse Team at “Eagles Nest Booster-Boys Lacrosse.”
The family extends appreciation to those reaching out with condolences while they navigate this difficult time.
