Roaring Creek and the neighboring community of Camalote are mourning the untimely death of Sean Armstrong, a well-known cowboy and rodeo competitor, who passed away after a devastating road traffic accident.

The crash, which involved a motorcycle and another vehicle, left Armstrong critically injured and fighting for his life.

Doctors performed multiple surgeries and ultimately amputated one of his arms in a final effort to save him.

Despite their tireless attempts, Armstrong succumbed to his injuries and passed away, leaving family, friends, and fans heartbroken.

In the days leading up to his death, family members and friends gathered near Garbutt’s Gas Station in Roaring Creek to raise funds for Armstrong’s medical treatment.

Supporters sold food and collected donations, demonstrating the deep affection the community had for the young cowboy.

Armstrong’s mother, Jen Swift-Armstrong, had shared hopeful updates about his condition and expressed gratitude for the prayers and support that poured in.

The family’s focus remained on his recovery as they faced mounting medical expenses, showing resilience even amid despair.

Sean Armstrong was a familiar face at the National Agriculture and Trade Show and other local rodeo events.

His fearless spirit, humor, and dedication to the cowboy lifestyle earned him respect across the community.

Friends described him as someone who could “crack a laugh out of anyone” and light up every gathering with his presence.

Social media tributes flooded in following the news of his death. Jennylee Janay Pelayo shared heartfelt condolences to the Armstrong family, writing that no words could truly comfort them in such grief.

Alaysia T. Meighan recalled fond memories of Armstrong’s humor and warmth, saying,

“You can once hold your son again. Rest up, you’re in a better place.”

Sean Armstrong’s passing comes only months after the heartbreaking death of his 18-month-old son, Shawn Armstrong III, who tragically died after choking on a pill.

The Armstrong family now faces a second devastating loss, one that has shaken the entire Roaring Creek community.

As the community continues to grieve, friends and loved ones remember Armstrong not only for his courage in the rodeo arena but also for his deep love for family and life itself.

Sean Armstrong’s legacy as a proud cowboy and devoted father will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

His strength, laughter, and unbreakable spirit will forever symbolize the resilience of Roaring Creek.
