Brigitte Silk alleges that her son was pictured in vulnerable sexual positions by SRCHS coaches by force and passed around amongst those 3 grown men who were hired to teach sports and be mentors.
She intended not to let go of the incident until the wrongs are corrected.
Some high school sports coaches abuse their power, creating a harmful environment through bullying and taking inappropriate photographs of athletes.
A coach’s bullying can look like constant, harsh criticism meant to humiliate rather than improve, or using exercise as punishment. It is emotional abuse, which can shatter a young person’s confidence and love for the game.
An even more serious violation occurs when a coach takes pictures or videos of athletes in vulnerable positions, which is never acceptable. These actions are a breach of trust and privacy.

North Dakota Mom Demands Justice for Son in Youth Sports Abuse Case
A North Dakota mother, Brigitte Silk, has issued a powerful public call for accountability.
She alleged that coaches at the Standing Rock Community High School (SRCHS) photographed her son and other players in compromising positions and shared the images.
Silk has used social media to draw wide attention to the case and vowed not to let go of the incident with her son until the wrongs are corrected.
In an emotional and detailed Facebook post, she described disturbing accusations against SRCHS coaches who were hired to mentor student-athletes.
She urged the public to imagine their children in such vulnerable sexual positions by force and then to picture those situations being recorded and passed around amongst those 3 grown men.
She further alleged that adults encouraged the behavior, laughing, getting off on the abuse their boys have been subjected to, concluding firmly.
My son is the VICTIM!
Remember, I’ve seen what you all haven’t.
Silk exposed the fact that happened and mentioned her son was a victim.
Her outrage is directed not just at the alleged acts but at the possibility that the adults responsible could remain in positions of trust.
She expressed fury at the thought of a former head coach sitting arrogantly in the stands as if he were invincible, while the affected youth live with forever-altered lives.
The viral post has resonated with many online, sparking widespread support for her and demanding that the coaches be barred from ever working with children again.
They need to be removed from ever working with kids. The Exhead coach has a youth basketball club…so I imagine he’s hidden abuse there, whether that be physical or sexual. He hid the sexual abuse that was going on at the school while under his care that my son was subjected to.
