A mother named Trina June took to Facebook to rant about the treatment her son received at Farwell High School.

Trina shared about something no parent should ever have to deal with at their kid’s school. She started her post with a bold statement, “I’ve had enough.

The mistreatment started with football. Her son wore his brand-new cleats for one single game. After that game, one cleat was gone, and someone had sliced up his mouthpiece.

If not, they even scratched up the face shield he had bought with his own money.

Trina wrote that her son got so upset he almost quit football, but he couldn’t because he wouldn’t be allowed to play basketball if he did. He stuck it out even though kids were messing with his stuff.

Enough of all this, Trina and her son went to the coaches. However, the only question they got was, “Are you sure he didn’t just lose the cleat?

The messing didn’t stop, but this week it got worse. A janitor at the school sent Trina a picture that made her stomach turn.

Her son’s everyday school shoes were thrown into a toilet and soaked in urine.

The conditioning teacher had told the boys to leave their shoes in the locker room lockers, and her son did what he was told. However, someone still did this.

After seeing the image, Trina drove straight to the school. She talked to the principal and the athletic director. However, they told her the cameras didn’t catch anything clear, and it would take time to see the footage meticulously.

In fact, they even questioned her son, asking whether he had a lock on his locker, which felt to her like they were saying it was somehow his fault.

Above all, when Trina was upset about the mess, which was obvious and justiciable, they told her that if she wanted to stay mad, she could call the superintendent.

In her post, she pointed out something that hurts the most, writing:

MIND you these are the same TWO ppl allowing my son to be bullied and when he reacts by flipping someone off he gets iss and has to miss basketball practice but NOTHING is done to the kids that are bullying even tho there’s a teacher that’s heard it!

She says the school punishes her son the second he stands up for himself, but the kids who keep targeting him get away with everything.

Trina also revealed that the janitor who had sent her the picture got yelled at for doing so.

She ended her post by saying she is done being quiet. She plans to go as high as she has to until someone is held accountable.

Trina called Farwell schools “a joke anymore” and said she will not stop fighting for her son.

In no time, the post made rounds online. Some were just shocked and angry, like “What the fuck??!” and “That’s messed up.”

Others offered advice; one wrote, “Call the state let them know.” Another said to contact the Lansing board of education.

A few parents hinted that sometimes a kid has to handle things himself, and they wouldn’t punish their own child for doing it.

One comment from a dad named Mason Paulick got a lot of attention, “Sometimes the schools cant do anything about it so your son may have to get suspended for a few days if ya catch my drift. I know if it was my boy id be taking him out for ice cream or whatever else he wanted if he handle his business.

As of right now, Trina June says she still hasn’t heard anything new from the school about who did this or what they plan to do.
