A mother named Jamila Kali shared on Facebook how young Cincere grew up in her home like family after his biological mother neglected him for years, only showing up once for basketball.
According to what Jamila wrote, Cincere and her oldest son met back when they were small kids in elementary school.
Her son, being the kind-hearted type, asked his dad if they could help get Cincere some clothes since he didn’t have much.
Jamila Kali’s husband or her son’s father went ahead and brough some clothes for Cincere.
Then the two boys had a sleepover at Jamila’s place, and one night turned into four or five days. Surprisingly, nobody from Cincere’s side ever called to check on him.
Jamila revealed that over time, Cincere just became part of their family. She said his biological mother didn’t mind at all as long as she kept her food stamps and cash assistance checks for him.
The only time she wanted him around was once a week to take out the trash.
Jamila mentioned that she would sometimes drive him over to see his mom, but the mother wouldn’t even step outside or come to the door to say hello to her own child. She described it as really sad scene to watch.
To make him included, Jamila, her husband, and her son made sure Cincere was involved in every thing like basketball games at Center Courts.
Jamila then went to share that she met Cincere’s mother for the first time at one of the basketball games at Center Courts. She revealed that this was the only time the mother ever showed up for a game.
Rahmaan Kelly, Jamila’s family friend, had given his mother a ride to and from Center Courts so she could watch her son play.
Our very first encounter she chose to tell me (a total stranger) her uncles raped her when she was little. I knew then she wasn’t wrapped too tight.
Jamila says that moment made her realize something wasn’t quite right and wrote:
That’s just not a conversation you have off the cuff/out the gate with a total stranger.
Jamila KaliLater, after the game, the mother never attended any game.

Her oldest decided he didn’t want to go, so she gave the extra suit to Cincere and took him along with her younger son.
She wanted Cincere to have that kind of experience, to see new things and feel special.
That night Cincere called his mom, all excited, telling her about the event and how good he looked in the suit. Instead of being happy for him, his mother got negative and mean about it, which really hurt his feelings.
For the whole next week, whenever Jamila went over to Rahmaan’s house, Cincere was still wearing that suit because it made him feel so good.
Things took a turn after that when Cincere’s mother tried to get closer to Rahmaan, but he turned her down. That’s when, according to Jamila, the mother started making serious false accusations against him.
Jamila said she had to be the one to break the news to Rahmaan what he was being accused of.
According to her, there was a forensic interview done with Cincere at the Children’s Advocacy Network, and he completely denied the story his mom was pushing.
Law enforcement looked into it and closed the case because there was no evidence to support the claims.
Jamila revealed that the mother got Cincere back for a while and tried to pressure him into lying about Rahmaan, but he refused.
If not she locked him in a closet inside an empty house and left him there while she moved to Minnesota with some man she was seeing.
Even through all of that, Jamila explains that her sons still see Cincere as their brother.
Amid the chaos, she admitted that she isn’t as forgiving as her sons are. Nontheless, she sees her boys handle it differently and myabe there’s something she could learn from them.
“I must admit I’m not that forgiving. Once you burn I’m done. Maybe I have a thing or two to learn from my sons,” Jamila wrote.
She then revealed that Rahmaan hasn’t always had everything together financially.
There were times he was really struggling, even having to stay with her temporarily, just like she had stayed with him before. Nonetheless, even at his lowest points, he kept Cincere with him to protect him from going back to a bad situation.
Eventually Cincere ended up back in Minnesota with his mom because, as Jamila puts it, kids still love their parents no matter how much neglect or hurt comes from them.
And now he is back in the area living with the family again.

Jamila revealed that she dig up this again after seven or eight years is because Cincere’s sisters recently came to visit him at Rahmaan’s house.
That’s when the word got back to his mother about how well he is doing now.
Jamila said that Cincere’s mother is set off from jealousy and envy after learning he is doing fine. In fact, the mother even started posting on TikTok, even mentioning Jamila’s name.
At the end of the post, Jamila revealed that there was never anything between them except maybe some passing moment at a Black Arts Festival, nothing more.
She warned that no spells, chants, or anything the other woman practices will stop what’s coming, and she declares in strong religious terms that any curses spoken will turn back on the person saying them.
