Six basketball players at the Obama School of Career and Technical Education in Milwaukee viciously attacked a Bay View High School coach following a game last month, leaving him with a broken wrist.
The violent incident occurred after Bay View defeated Obama 64-39 on December 16th.
As Bay View players attempted to board their bus, the six Obama players followed them into the parking lot, harassing both the players and the coaching staff.
When one of Bay View’s coaches stepped in to intervene, the attackers surrounded him, shoved him to the ground, and repeatedly stomped on him, resulting in a broken wrist.
Two 911 calls were placed during and immediately after the assault, but both calls were disconnected, and Milwaukee Police never responded to the scene.

Despite the severity of the attack, all six players suited up and participated in the team’s game against Pulaski High School just two nights later, on December 18th.
Milwaukee Public Schools confirmed that all six students have now faced disciplinary action.
“The safety of our students, staff and athletics visitors is important to us, and as we would in any case like this, we took prompt action to investigate the incident,” said MPS spokesman Stephen Davis.
“We also took appropriate school and athletic disciplinary action. We cannot share specifics on student discipline per federal law.”
FacebookUnder Wisconsin law, the attack may qualify as a substantial battery, a felony, yet it appears that none of the six players will face legal consequences.
Davis explained that Milwaukee Police Department School Resource Officers had been present during the game but had left before the incident occurred. Event staff attempted to address the situation immediately.
The Obama boys basketball team is scheduled to play Milwaukee Lifelong Learning High School on Thursday night and will face Bay View again in a rematch on Saturday afternoon.

What the f*#k is wrong with our youths of today. I’m a former MPS High School basketball player and this kind of behavior wasn’t acceptable, tolerated or thought of just because you lost a basketball game? Sure losing isn’t fun, but at the end of the day it’s a game not the end of the world or your life, well in this day and age I see it could be which is very very sad, but you and your teammates get together and work harder to win the next game, not take your frustrations out on the opponent by physical aggression and violence which resulted in a coach having a broken wrist. I feel these 6 immature little boys should be not just kicked off the team but also expelled and jailed, that’s just one man’s opinion
