Lisa Goldsman, co-owner of the esteemed Lagree Underground fitness studio, has tragically passed away.
For over 25 years, Lisa has dedicated herself to helping others discover the joy, balance, and strength that fitness can bring.
Her journey started when she walked into her first Spinning class with Johnny G, and walked out three months later, forty pounds lighter, energized, and inspired.
Lisa discovered Lagree Fitness, a method that immediately resonated with her.
Over the years, she built a diverse and holistic fitness background, blending multiple disciplines to guide her clients toward sustainable wellness.
She was a Mad Dogg-certified Spinning instructor, Lagree Fitness certified, trained in TRX, and also Reiki certified, bringing a mind-body dimension to her coaching.
Lisa expanded her expertise further by studying functional health and nutrition.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved leader, co-owner, and Lagree queen, Lisa, has unexpectedly passed away. Lisa was more than the heart of our studios — she was the energy, the vision, and the soul behind everything we built together. Her passion, strength, and light touched every person who walked through our doors. We know this news will come as a shock to many. Our community meant the world to Lisa, and we’ll continue to honor her incredible life and legacy through our studios.

I had the privilege of teaching at @lagree213 for two years. I have learned so much from @bodybylisag, not only about lagree but about life. She became more than just a boss to me: a BAD ASS mentor, a friend. Completely devastated and heartbroken. What a loss. Thinking of Ben, her son and the entire 213 family. 💔
