His steroid business partner and romantic rival, David Beiber, hired David Snipes for $1000 to take him out.

Markus Mueller was a German immigrant and professional bodybuilder who came to America with big dreams. He was young and tried acting, music, and pro wrestling.

He was drawn to the spectacle of professional wrestling like many athletes of his physique, and began his training in Las Vegas in 1992.

Mueller’s time in the wrestling ring was brief, but he achieved a notable milestone by appearing for the major Mexican promotion AAA. He performed under the ring name Wally the Wall.

Due to his unsuccessful career, he was involved in selling steroids to various gyms across the country, which became quite lucrative for him. His business associate was a man named David Beiber, a pro bodybuilder and known steroid abuser.

Mueller’s world involved dealing steroids with a man named David Bieber.

Personal rivalry tainted their relationship because they were both seeing the same lady, Danielle Labelle.

Initially, Mueller’s girlfriend, Labelle, began an affair with Bieber, whom she later married. Yet, she continued seeing Mueller secretly.

Days after his marriage, Bieber plotted to eliminate his rival. He hired a 17-year-old, David Snipes, paying him $1,000 to kill Mueller.

On February 9, 1995, Snipes approached Mueller at his doorstep and shot him three times.

Snipes eventually confessed and received a life sentence.

On the other hand, Bieber knew he was a suspect and stole the identity of a deceased child, Nathan Wayne Coleman. He fled overseas to England, where he built a new life as a nightclub bouncer, married to Denise Horsley, and continued selling steroids.

However, his run ended on December 26, 2003, in Leeds, England. He was pulled over in a stolen car and opened fire on three police officers, wounding two and executing the third, 34-year-old Officer Ian Broadhurst.

Afterwards, he was captured days later. He was convicted and given three life sentences for the murder of Officer Broadhurst and attempted murders.

Furthermore, he attacked a female prison guard, Alison Smith, at HMP Long Lartin prison with a homemade weapon fashioned from an iron bar in 2017.

Bieber was given an additional life sentence at Worcester Crown Court.
