Illinois nd Minnesota communities are mourning the untimely death of beloved native and professional wrestler, Macauly Rose, aka Lily Sipila.

Lily Jade Sipila, known in the wrestling world as Macauly Rose, passed away on January 4, 2026, at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis.

She is survived by her husband, Drew, and her family. Her passing has been felt across the Midwest wrestling community, where she was recognized for her talent, dedication, and professionalism.

Born in Kankakee, Illinois, Sipila was active in sports from an early age.

Before stepping into the wrestling world, she played rugby, demonstrating a combination of strength, agility, and teamwork that would later inform her in-ring style.
