Heartbroken Parents Reece and Glenda Evans Share Pain of Losing 18-Year-old Xenia Football Star Son Ashton Evans in Car Accident

On the morning of October 29, 2026, 18-year-old Ashton Evans, a promising football player from Xenia, Ohio, tragically lost his life in a car accident.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, Evans was driving a Ford Mustang when he collided with another vehicle in a residential neighborhood.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m., and Evans was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the other vehicle sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

The incident has deeply shaken the Xenia community, where Evans was known not only for his athletic talent but also for his positive spirit and leadership on and off the field.

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and authorities have not yet released details about the cause of the accident.

Family And Community Members Are Mourning the Loss of Ashton Evans!

Xenia, Ohio, resident Ashton Evans began playing football as a young man and quickly became known for his energy, talent, and commitment to the game.

He worked hard in high school, always showing up ready to train and give his best.

His teammates and coaches admired his focus and positive attitude. Off the field, Ashton was a huge fan of Kobe Bryant.

He looked up to Kobe not just for his skills, but for his strong mindset and determination.

Ashton often shared Kobe’s photos on his social media.

Even though his life was short, Ashton made a big impact on everyone around him through his love for sports.

His tragic passing has left a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and teammates.

In the days following the accident, many of Ashton Evans’ well-wishers and loved ones paid tribute through heartfelt messages and social media posts.

Coaches remembered him as a dedicated player with a bright future, while classmates spoke of his ability to lift others.

Reece J Evans, father of Ashton Evans, expressed his sadness, saying:

I love you so much Baby Boy. I’m

So lost without you. It just isn’t fair. #forever18

Likewise, another one said:

Reece, my heart is breaking for you! I know there is nothing anyone can say to make this any easier but I have been thinking about you all day. Please reach out if you need anything! Big hugs to you and the boys! I’m so sorry! 

Although he passed away untimely, Ashton Evan will be remembered for generations to come.
