Greg Watts was a dedicated basketball player at Ipswich High School.
He began his high school athletic career by joining the varsity boys’ basketball team at Ipswich High School in December 2009, during his sophomore year.
As a member of the Tigers, he contributed to the team over the past few seasons, helping build school spirit through competitive games and practices.
Yolanda, one of his relatives, also shared her words through a tribute post, which reads:
Sadly, we lost a truly admirable person much too soon, but we haven’t lost his wonderful soul. Please consider sharing to help our family honor Greg Watts with closeness, great memories and love 🤍
He was a quiet, steady strength in our lives—someone people naturally looked up to. Though he’s no longer with us, the jokes, memories and spirit lives on forever.
Growing up in Ipswich, Massachusetts, Greg cultivated a passion for youth sports and was involved in one as well.
He loved Boston sports and enjoyed attending games at the Garden and other venues.
Above all, Greg had just bought tickets to a Celtics game and had purchased a new C’s shirt to wear.
He had an outgoing personality that made everyone feel at home. Greg never uttered or badmouthed anyone.
Thus far, intricate details surrounding his memorial and funeral services have yet to be published by his family.
During this challenging time, we pray for the strength of Greg’s parents, brother, friends, and extended family.
Rest In Heavenly Peace, Greg Watts!
