Helena, Montana Native and Former Capital High Bruin Football Standout Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alamia Dies in Car Accident, Survived by Wife Kaylie and Family

Helena, Montana, is mourning the untimely death of a beloved native, a proud father, and a former athlete, Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alamia.
Nick Alamia passed away earlier this week in a fatal auto accident, according to his family; however, details surrounding his untimely death have not yet disclosed by his family.
A native of Helena, Montana, Nick Alamia was a cherished member of the Montana sports community and touched the lives of many with his kind and cheerful nature.
The late Nick Alamia was a standout athlete at Capital High School, where he played varsity football as a tight end wearing jersey #85.
Standing 5’11” and weighing 200 pounds, Nick was a powerful presence on the field throughout his high school career.
As a junior in 2007, he helped lead the Capital Bruins to a 12-1 record, finishing 9-1 in their region and earning a #2 state ranking and #274 national ranking.
His senior season in 2008 was equally impressive, as he played a key role in guiding the Bruins to an undefeated 13-0 season, a perfect 10-0 region record, and the #1 state ranking, while the team earned a #457 national ranking.
Nick’s dedication, skill, and leadership made him a respected teammate and a celebrated figure in Montana high school football. He graduated in 2009.
Although Nick didn’t pursue his career in sports professionally, his love for sports was immense, and he was actively involved in sports activities in the Helena community.
A proud graduate of Montana Technological University, Nick was serving as a branch manager of Wells Fargo in Helena, Montana, from 2026 until his recent passing. He also served as a customer care associate at First Montana Bank.

The unexpected passing of Nicholas ‘Nick’ Alamia has deeply saddened his loved ones.
Many of his loved ones are sharing his memories on social media and extending their heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
One wrote:
“There are absolutely no words that can be said to describe how many hearts Nick touched throughout the years. The softball community lost a great soul, father, husband, son and friend.. I want you to know that you have a huge community behind you and those precious boys not only during this time, but forever to come. I am incredibly sorry about this devastating news. So much love being sent your way 🖤”

Michael Patrick ConnollyIn addition to being an amazing athlete, Nick Alamia was a devoted husband to his longtime wife, Kaylie Alamia, and a great father to their three sons.
He instilled a passion for sports in his three sons from a very young age and guided them throughout their athletic journeys.
Loved ones remember Nick as a person who always had a smile on his face, loved to crack jokes, and make people laugh.
The Helena community has organized a GoFundMe to ease the financial burden of Nick’s family as they navigate the loss and organize a memorial and funeral service to honor him.
In addition to his loving wife, Kaylie, and three sons, Nick also leaves behind his parents, Wendy and Mike, along with the entire family.
Wendy, his mother, paid tribute to her son Nick on social media, recalling him as a vibrant person.
Nick Alamia’s contribution to the Helena community as an amazing athlete and his kind nature will always be remembered. His family will soon provide details about his funeral and memorial services.
