Terrence Curry, who had recently celebrated his birthday at the basketball court last Monday, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2026.
His mother, Valerie Thomas Curry, announced the tragic news on social media and requested that her family be kept in prayer.
Terrence Curry was a man of many talents, whose journey weaves through education, hard work, and personal passion.
On the court, he is known as a dedicated basketball and football player. Off the court, his professional life had been varied, including roles as a junior warden at Immortal Lodge and a team leader at General Motors.
He also brought a disciplined mindset from his time as an infantryman at the School of Hard Knocks. He was also a business owner who ran Dream Kings LLC.
Terrence studied at Vatterott and attended Kaskaskia College, where he built a diverse skill set in construction engineering, basic culinary arts, and advanced culinary arts.
Beyond his work and studies, he is also a gamer. He channeled this interest into his self-titled YouTube Channel, “Terrence Curry,” sharing his passion with the world.

Terrence Curry, the son of Valerie Thomas Curry, was born in Centreville, Illinois, and lived in East St. Louis.
His parents raised him in a close-knit family alongside his brother, TheLeo Mike, and sister, Diamond Williams.
Terrence Curry passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2026.
His passing comes just days after he joyfully celebrated his birthday at his beloved basketball court last Monday, surrounded by friends and family.
Valerie Thomas Curry shared the heartbreaking news and requested prayers and privacy for the family during this challenging time.
