Later, she found her calling as the School Program Coordinator at Erin’s House for Grieving Children in Fort Wayne. It was a God-designed fit.

Her gentle spirit, compassion, and empathy made her an irreplaceable, loyal friend. She recently returned to the volleyball court as a coach for the Gym Rats in Fort Wayne.

Bradley Wurster and Toni Campbell Honoring Their Daughter Madi’s Light

Madelyn “Madi” Brianne Wurster, the daughter of Bradley Wurster and Toni Campbell, was born on March 26, 2000, in Bluffton, Indiana.

Her parents raised her in a close-knit family alongside her two brothers, Zachary and Nicholas Wurster.

Madi was welcomed into the loving arms of her Savior following a tragic car accident in Fort Wayne. Her life was a beautiful example of faith, love, and vibrant joy.

Her devotion to Jesus was the cornerstone of her existence. She was a cherished member of her Life Group at Pathway Community Church, where she loved to worship, often lifting her beautiful voice in song to glorify God.

Moreover, she enjoyed attending services with her family at First Missionary Church.

Madi was a devoted daughter, a Daddy’s girl, and her Mom’s best friend. She treasured every moment spent with her family, whether at home, during holiday gatherings, on small trips, or on grand vacations.

Her brothers held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in her role as an aunt to her nephew, Wrigley. She eagerly anticipated the arrival of another nephew in January 2026.

Yesterday, I had received news that would change my world forever. Sadly, my sister Madi passed away. Words will never describe the hurt, ache, and emptiness in our family without you. You were a blessing to everyone who had the fortune of crossing paths with you. You lived as Christ did, with everything you did, from work to spending time with friends and family.

Zach Wurster

Madi possessed a rare wisdom and empathy that touched everyone she met.

She intuitively knew when to offer a quiet, listening ear and when to fill a room with her goofy and infectious liveliness.

Her huge heart knew exactly who and what to love. She relied on the Lord through the difficulties she faced in her life, through loss, injury, and some personal conflicts.

Shauna Smith has started a meal signup for the Wurster family as they grieve the loss of Madi.
