Daria Deibele, a freshman at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, was a student from Duluth, Minnesota, majoring in German and premed.
A 2026 graduate of Duluth East High School, she excelled in athletics, competing in tennis for six years.

For Daria, rowing was more than a sport; she once said:
Wisconsin rowing means to me hardworking, striving for excellence, being persistent and being part of a family. We are a family and we care about one another. We hold each other accountable and push each other to do their best so we can do our best.
